THE DECALOGUE
A downloadable anthology
"[...] we remembered your sister's book, very useful your sister, very useful indeed, up until a young Belizabeth Brassica ordered her run down in the street by Vegetanian knights. That hurt because she had always been very sweet to me."
Apart from this single aside, the relationship between Saint Citrina Rocks and Pontifex Belizabeth Brassica is a blank canvas. THE DECALOGUE is an anthology and a proposal both: what if they met in Brightgarden as burgeoning students of the Bulb?
Two versions of THE DECALOGUE are available on this page. The base version includes a 35+ page zine with original art and writing to illustrate our interpretation of the canonical Book of Leaves as mentioned in A Crown of Candy. The Pontifex version is a version of the Book of Leaves as owned by Belizabeth Brassica and includes letters sent between her and Citrina Rocks for as long as they knew each other.
All proceeds raised from this zine will be donated to the International Rescue Committee. You can learn more about the IRC and the work they are currently doing at https://www.rescue.org/.
Content warnings: discussion of death and war, blood imagery. Fonts were chosen for stylistic purpose above legibility; transcripts of both versions of THE DECALOGUE are provided.
NOTE: Some pages of THE DECALOGUE, particularly the letters, require extra time to render properly on some system viewers. We have found that zooming in can help the process. Thank you for bearing with us!
